Experience the medicine within.
Amaya Inner Journey is a transformational weekend of ceremony with plant medicine, sound healing, guided sitting and active meditation, yoga, and plant-based nourishment all set in the beautiful Columbia Valley near Cultus Lake, BC.
In a very special Inner Journey paying homage to the beautiful master plant that is Cannabis, we are honoured to co-facilitate with Stephen Gray, author of “Cannabis and Spirituality: An Explorer’s Guide to an Ancient Plant Spirit Ally” and Creator of the “Spirit Plant Medicine Conference” hosted annually in Vancouver.
Now with the current legalization of Cannabis we can freely open up to the potential expansion that this sacred plant can provide us with. There has been a stigma placed on Cannabis users in the past but now those who have used the plant spiritually and meditatively, or those who are interested, can come out of the Cannabis closet and join together in ceremony.
With the essential understanding that inner silence is the most powerful gateway to awakening, this retreat will use simple “bare-attention” meditation as the wellspring to keep returning to as we mix in sound healing, movement, and guided meditation/visualization practices in a safe and nurturing container.
”The expansion and release that marijuana can potentiate when used spiritually and meditatively are likely a significant component of its increasingly well-known healing abilities.” - Stephen Gray
