In “Inner Alchemy: The Art of Rejuvenation” we are honoured to be joined by, Minke de Vos, Universal Healing Tao Instructor and Medical Qigong Master, and David Gyurkovics, also Universal Healing Tao Instructor and Acutonics Sound Healer. They will both be guiding us through a Qigong journey to bring light and awareness to the deepest areas of the self.
The human subtle body is precious and essential for our spiritual growth and should be cultivated rather than ignored or seen as something to be transcended. Inner Alchemy is the Taoist art of gathering, storing and circulating energies of the human body for the purpose of rejuvenating and enhancing our physical, emotional and mental health and in the process allowing your divine nature to emerge.
The practice aims to create a harmonious alignment of the reproductive energy (Jing), the life-force energy (Qi), and the spiritual energy (Shen). Minke will be guiding us in this ascension along a vibratory spectrum – from the more densely-vibrating Jing to the higher-vibratory Shen. The inner alchemy of yin and yang cultivates yuan qi or unconditional love. Love is the alchemical agent for profound transformation. But this is only half of the story. You are invited to discover the rest in this most precious retreat.
THE FACILITATORS
Minke de Vos
Minke de Vos is a Medical Qigong Master Therapist, Senior Universal Healing Tao and Inner Alchemy Instructor, certified by Mantak Chia. As Director of Silent Ground Retreats she has devoted over 30 years to practicing meditative, healing and movement arts. She draws inspiration from a broad base of disciplines, including Dance, Eurythmy and Shamanic Chinese Medicine. She is internationally known as one of the top teachers of Qigong and Sacred Sexuality. She is author of "Tao Tantric Arts for Women". Following a series of Kundalini awakenings, her encounter with Taoist teachings confirmed the universality of her experience. Her soulful, creative-based work inspires people to live with passion and love.
David Gyurkovics
David Gyurkovics is a Universal Healing Tao Instructor. He has studied and practiced Taoist internal arts for over 20 years. David’s passion for Oriental Medicine has lead him to study with some great teachers including Dr. Miki Shima, Gilles Marin, and Master Mantak Chia. The Taoist approach to the awakening and transformation of subtle energies through bodily awareness consistently inspires David’s focus on the value of working with the breath. As a bodyworker and Medical Qigong Practitioner David weaves breathwork, Chi Nei Tsang, and Acutonics Sound Healing (sound acupuncture). He is a musician with a gift for inducing through sound vibration deep states where the bodymind can unwind and tune into the flow of energy. He will play Tibetan bowls, gongs, didgeridoo, chimes and many other instruments.
